James Arlin Anderson

James Arlin Anderson of Alexandria died Monday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The funeral will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. here in the chapel. Jarrett Randolph and Dan Mollette will officiate. Burial will be in Harpeth Hills Cemetery in Nashville, Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 p,m, and Friday from 10 a,m, until service time at 11:30 a,m, He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Timothy Anderson and Louella Whitfield and sons, Donald Wayne and James Jr. Anderson. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Alice and children; Debra (Ray) Meadows, Tim (Beverly) Anderson and Robin (David) Ligon. Eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a sister Martha Koudelka. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church
