Charles Walter Clayborn

Charles W. Clayborn was born June 24, 1940 in Dekalb County, Tn. and passed away August 22, 2021 at the age of 81. He was a member and Deacon at Helton Creek The Baptist Church. He worked at AVCO in Nashville for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Loretta Parkerson Clayborn and a son Charles Barry Clayborn. Charles is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Hale Clayborn. Children Connie (Johnny) Florida, Eddie (Jamie) Clayborn, Tommy (Maria) Clayborn and his daughter-in-law, Michelle Clayborn. Grandchildren, Jennifer Florida, James (Heidi) Clayborn, Stefanie (Cyrus) Shores, Heather Janecke, Thomas Clayborn and Eric Clayborn. Great-Grandchildren are Dallas Shores, Jax Shores, Jordyn Janecke, Axle Janecke, Isabelle Clayborn and Hunter Weilacher. He is also survived by his sister, Joyce Boyd and brother Mike (Jan) Clayborn and sister-in-law Willette Hale. Visitation will be at Anderson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3:00 till 6:00 and Thursday From 11:00 till service time at 2:00 with Bro. Gary Glover and Bro. Leonard Herman officiating with interment to follow in Hillview Cemetery. His eulogy will be given by his Grandson, Thomas Clayborn. Pallbearers will be Mike Hale, Patrick Clayborn, Thomas Clayborn, Howard Malone, Jerome Hale and John Armour
