Carol Lee de Mik

July 26, 1937 – June 27, 2023

On Tuesday, June 27, 2023, Carol de Mik, loving wife, mother of three, grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of nine passed away at the age of 85.

Carol was born on July 26,1937, in Los Angeles, CA. On June 2, 1961, she married the love of her life, Gary.  They raised two daughters, Stacey and Erin, and a son, Steve.  

Together with Dad, she ran a successful business in Denver, Colorado before purchasing and running Hidden Harbor Marina in Smithville, Tennessee.

Mom devoted her life to her family and caring for them.  She loved laughing, reading, boating, and beautiful music.  

She is survived by her children, Stacey (Brian), Erin (Mark) and Steve (Angie) and their children and grandchildren and her brother, Robert.

Our Mother had a beautiful mind, but in recent years was slowly robbed of it through progressive dementia.  Today we know that she is healed and are thankful for the promise that, “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4)

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
